Welcome to Rodgers’ East Place Family Farm
The East Place is a 117-acre farm that contains 15 acres in native prairie grass, 40 acres in quail habitat, 49 acres in forest reserve and 3 acres in wildlife habitat. It is the eastern fields of the Rodgers family farms that were established in 1843 and have stretched in varying sizes and owned by various Rodgers ancestors along the South Skunk River east of Spring Creek in Spring Creek Township, Mahaska County, Iowa. Deer, wild turkey, maples and oaks are features of the land.
